I peered at a young couple at the swim-up bar from my position on the side. They were waiting to order, engaging in small talk with another couple beside them. The woman idly splashed a little poolwater onto the bar. Moments later he took the menu card and methodically raked the water back into the pool. She didn’t seem to object or even notice.
